The Family of Viola Lillian Fye: First Marriage, Burial Records

Viola Lillian Fye's first husband, Charles Lawrence Condon, died on 18 December 1934, aged 36 years, and was buried at Old St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania.

Obituary:

"Charles Lawrence Condon, aged 36 years, well known resident of 79 Manning Street, died in Oil City Hospital at 2:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of two months.
The deceased was born in Oil City on December 25, 1897 and had resided in the community his entire life. He had been employed in the P.R.R. shops for a period of 16 years.
Mr. Condon was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter Coletta, his mother Mrs. Rose Condon, and the following bothers and sisters, Mrs. D.E. Gontz, Mrs. Rose Beale, Mrs. James Vogan, W.J., Thomas, Clarence, James and Jack Condon, all of Oil City.
A requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church at 9 o'clock Friday and interment will be made in Old St. Joseph's Cemetery".

Their only child, Coletta Loraine, died on 17 April 2010, aged 80 years. Her obituary does not mention where she was buried and I have not found any other burial information.

"Coletta Condon Arndt, 80, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Franklin and Oil City, died Saturday, April 17, 2010. She was married to Donald Arndt.
She is survived by her son, Donald Arndt Jr., and two sisters, Carole Madden and Bonnie Dehn.
There will be no public services."
