| I know very little about the life of Edward William Newberry, who died at the young age of 45. His death notice does not mention any wife or children and his funeral
was from the home of his parents. I can find no record of him ever having married. At the time of the 1911 Canadian Census (the most recent available), Edward was 17 and living with his parents. He was working as a blacksmith's helper - possibly working for his father. The Census does not give any indication that Edward was in any way disabled. I have not yet seen his death certificate and do not know the cause of his death, but suspect that he was poorly for some years before his death. |
