NOTES:
1: The marriage information comes from Toronto city records and does not record the name of the church, but does record that Francis was Roman Catholic and Henrietta was Church of England. Rev. Heathcote, whose full title was Reverend Sir Francis Cooke Caulfield Heathcote, 9th Baronet, was an Anglican minister and a 1900 Toronto Directory lists him as the rector of St Clement's Church in Toronto.
2: Their marriage was not a successful one and Francis moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1924, leaving his wife Henrietta in Toronto. I have not been able to determine what became of her after 1924.

NOTES:
1: I have not been able to find any record of a marriage between Francis Joseph Newberry and Elizabeth Ann White Reid. It may be that they were both still married to their previous spouses and were never free to marry.
2: Before moving to Detroit in 1923, Francis Joseph lived in Toronto in the home of Elizabeth Ann White Reid and her daughters as their lodger. He was living there at the time of the 1921 Census.
3: I have not been able to determine when Elizabeth and her 3rd husband James Benzies separated or when she moved to Detroit. She married James Benzies in 1923 but was living with Francis Joseph in Detroit by 1930. By the time she began living with Francis, Elizabeth had been married 3 times and had 7 children.
