Joseph Weights purchased grave N-34 in the Roman Catholic Section at Preston Cemetery on 7 February 1924 for the burial of his father-in-law. There are five burials: | |
1) | James Ashton, age 73, of 17 Turner Street, was buried on 7 February 1924 by T. E. Maguire. His was the 1st interment, no. 54685. |
2) | Agnes Christina Ashton, age 78, of 17 Turner Street, widow of James, was buried on 7 September 1929 by J. Mattinson. Hers was the 2nd interment, no. 58038. |
3) | Walter Francis Parkinson, age 70, of 9 Derby Square, was buried in 1941 by F. Whelan. His was the 3rd interment, no. 64520. |
4) | Joseph Weights, age 66, of 61 Meadow Street, butcher, was buried on 1 October 1952 by R. Bacon. His was the 4th interment, no. 209766. He died at Preston Royal Infirmary. |
5) | Mrs Elizabeth Weights, age 79, of 14 Dunmore Street, housewife, was buried on 4 March 1964 by N. McArdle. Hers was the 5th and last interment, no. 77318. She died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Preston. |
