THE LIFE OF ROBERT WEIGHTS:

| I have not been able to find any information on Robert Weights after the 1901 census -
when he was an 18 year old living with his parents at 64 Waterloo Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston. He was working
as a house painter's apprentice and was unmarried. I have checked the marriage registers for St Andrew's Church and
can not find a record of his marriage there. Did he marry in another Preston church, a church outside of Preston,
or never get married? Perhaps he joined the Army like his twin brother Albert and was posted in some other part of
the world. The only other information I have at this time was that he was alive at the time that his father wrote his Will in 1920. He may be a tough one to track down! |
