DEATH NOTICE:
"Morton - on the 9th inst., at the residence of his daughter (Mrs. Fox), 93 Norris-Street, Preston, James Morton (Jerry), aged 80 years. R.I.P. - Inquiries J. Kirkham and sons, Water Lane, Phone Ashton 271."

BURIAL RECORDS:
James Morton, of Hesketh Street, Ashton-on-Ribble, purchased grave B-275 in the Roman Catholic Section at Preston Cemetery on 2 March 1891. There are three burials in a 20 ft. deep grave:
1) Margaret Morton, age 43, of Hesketh Street, Ashton, Buried 2 March 1891. 1st interment, 20 ft deep.
2) James Morton, age 80, of 93 Norris Street, Preston, Buried 13 June 1928, 2nd Interment, 2/8.
3) Helena Morton, age 79, of 32 Stocks Road, Ashton, Buried 23 December 1966, 6ft deep.
