THE MARRIAGE OF ROBERT & MILLICENT NOBLE

INFORMATION FROM WILLS:

 

Robert Noble:
Robert Noble died aged only 39 years and did not apparently make a Will. I can find no record of any administration of his estate.

 

Millicent Noble:
29 August. The Will of Millicent Noble, late of 3 Nelson Street, Morecambe in the county of Lancaster, widow, who died 20 August 1884 at the Infirmary Lancaster in the said county, was proved at Lancaster by James Weights of 6 Deacon Street, Liverpool in the said county, Gas and Rent Collector, the brother, one of the Executors.

Personal estate: £113 15s 5d.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Millicent Noble of 3 Nelson Street, Morecambe in the County of Lancaster, Widow.

I hereby revoke all Will and Testamentary instruments heretofore by me made.

I appoint James Weights of Liverpool and J. Walling of Morecambe to be the Executors of this my Will.

I direct my Executors to pay my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses.

I give and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever to my Brother James Weights and my Sister Mary Dobson and to the children of my brother William Weights in the following proportions Viz: To my Brother James one third, to my Sister Mary one third and to the children of my brother William the remaining one third to be equally divided amongst them save and except as to my jewelry which I bequeath to my Brother James and my Sister Mary for their own separate use. I also give and bequeath to my Executors the sum of Five pounds each for their trouble.

In witness whereof I have set my hand this 20th day of August 1884.

Signed by the above named Millicent Noble as her last Will in the presence of us both being present at the same time in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

Proved at Lancaster on the Twenty ninth day of August 1884 by the Oath of James Weights, Brother of the deceased, one of the Executors named in the Will to whom administration was granted, Power reserved of making the like grant to John Walling the other Executor named in the said Will.

The Testatrix Millicent Noble was late of No. 3 Nelson Street, Morecambe in the County of Lancaster, Widow, and died on the Twentieth day of August 1884 at the Infirmary Lancaster in the said County.
