On the Twenty fifth Day of November in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty six The within-named John Morton ~ ~ ~ aged Twenty One Years and upwards appeared personally, and alledged that he intended to marry with Elizabeth Singleton ~ ~ ~ within named, aged Twenty One Years, and that he knoweth of no lawful Let or Impediment, by Reason of any Pre-contract, Consanguinity, Affinity or any other Lawful Cause whatsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage, of the Truth of which he made Oath, and also that the usual Place of her & her abode hath been for four Weeks last past at Barnacre within mentioned |
