FAMILY HISTORY: MORTON
THE FAMILY OF MARGERY IBISON
Robert Ibison and Ann Bamber were married on 7 August 1750. Their daughter Margery Ibison was born in Barnacre-with-Bonds. The only concrete information I have found on her family comes from the Register of Papists, which was an attempt to count all Catholics in the country. The following information is taken from that register. (The family surname seems to have been spelled various ways over the years.) |

NOTES: | |
1: | The ages given are, at best, questionable. |
2: | There were two other Ibisons living in Barnacre at the time, Margaret, age 13 and Thomas, age 8, but I can not be sure that they are members of Margery's family. |
3: | Some of the above information was kindly provided by Peter Ibison. |
