THE STAZIKER/BRETHERTON FAMILY

 

Margaret Staziker was the daughter of John Staziker and Sarah Walmsley, who were married in Leyland, Lancashire on 16 December 1867.

Margaret was baptized at St Michael & All Angels Parish Church in Croston on 30 September 1877.

John Staziker died on 15 April 1880 and Sarah married William Bretherton on 31 March 1881. At the time of the 1881 Census they were living with their family in Croston:

William and Sarah Bretherton are buried together with two of Sarah's sons in the churchyard at St Michael & All Angels Parish Church in Croston:

who died 15th April 1880 aged 42 years.
Also James, son of William & Sarah Bretherton,
who died 20th February 1885 aged 3 years & 9 months.
Also John, son of John Staziker,
who died 6th May 1905 aged 32 years.

Also Sarah Bretherton,
who died 29th May 1913 aged 65 years.
Also, William, husband of Sarah Bretherton,
who died 7th June 1924 aged 77 years."
