THE FAMILY OF KATE HOUGH

 

Kate Hough was the daughter of Ralph Hough and Margaret Greener, who were married at St Michael & All Angels Church in Croston on 24 December 1879.

At the time of the 1881 Census Ralph, Margaret and their infant daughter Mary Ann were living with his parents in Croston:

Ralph and Margaret Hough are buried together with two of their sons at the Parish Church in Croston:
"In loving Memory of Ralph Hough,
who died 21st April 1922 aged 64 years.
Also, his Wife Margaret Hough,
who died 20th May 1942 aged 82 years.
Also, Richard, their son,
who died in infancy.
Also, John, their son
who died 31st August 1918 aged 34 years."
