THE DALTON FAMILY OF CROSTON
| The wives of John and James Cottam were sisters, the daughter's of William and Ann Dalton of Croston. William Dalton was born in Croston on 31 August 1819 and Ann Glover was born c. 1823. They were married in the Parish Church on 20 September 1841 and had at least nine children. |
