THE FAMILY OF JAMES IDDON
| James Iddon was the son of David Iddon and Elizabeth Moorcroft, who were married at the Parish Church in Croston
on 5 December 1855. David Iddon was born in Croston on 3 October 1825. At the time of the 1861 Census he was the Innkeeper at the Wheat Sheaf Pub in Croston and a Hay Dealer: |

| Elizabeth (Moorcroft) Iddon died on 26 July 1890 and was buried in the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels
Church in Croston. She was not buried with her husband - who appears to have been buried in a single grave elsewhere in the churchyard. |
