THE FAMILY OF ALICE BANISTER

 

Alice Banister was the daughter of Thomas Banister, who was born in Croston on 1 January 1839, and Nanny Jump who was born in Croston on 6 September 1837. They were married at St Michael and All Angels Parish Church in Croston on 11 February 1868

Alice was baptized in the same church on 18 June 1879 by the Rector, Oswald Master.

At the time of the 1881 Census the family were living in Bretherton.

Thomas and Nanny are buried together with three of their children in the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels Church.
