FAMILY HISTORY: NORRIS

THE FAMILY OF MARGARET GREENER

Margaret Greener was the youngest daughter of Thomas Greener and Margaret Thornton, who were married at St Michael and All Angels Parish Church in Croston on 27 August 1822.

They settled in the village of Newburgh in the Parish of Ormskirk where Margaret was born in 1846 - almost 24 years after her parents' marriage - and was baptized at Latham Chapel on 5 April 1846.

At the time of the 1851 Census her family was living in Newburgh.
