The Family of Thomas Rigbye

Thomas Rigbye was the son of John Rigbye, who was born in Croston on 23 March 1745/46 and Jane Naylor, who was born c. 1754. They were married at the Parish Church in Croston on 7 February 1775.

Thomas was baptized in the same church on 8 August 1775 and was the first of at least 4 children.

Thomas and his family lived their whole lives in Croston, where Thomas' father John died on 17 May 1800. He was buried on 20 May 1800, aged 54 years, the cause of death being listed in the Burial Registers as Palsy. He was buried inside the church at the entrance of the Great Door.

I have not yet found the burial record for Thomas' mother.
