FAMILY HISTORY: SWARBRICK
THE FAMILY OF MARGARET BRITTON:
| Margaret Swarbrick, the daughter of Christopher Stephenson, was born in Carnforth, Lancashire in about 1822. She married John Britton in about 1849 and had at least four children. John Britton died in 1856 and Margaret married John Swarbrick three years later. After John Swarbrick's death in 1864, Margaret moved to Barrow-in-Furness where she was living as late as the time of the 1901 Census. |
