The Family of Elizabeth "Betty" Higginson

Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Higginson and Jane Hall, who were married on 9 February 1784 at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church in Goosnargh.

Elizabeth was baptized on 2 September 1784 at St Francis Catholic Chapel in Goosnargh by Father Charles Willcock. The sponsors were James Higginson and Elizabeth Oldham.

Elizabeth's baptism record spells the family name as Higgison but later entries for this couple spelled the name correctly.
