The Family of Mary Billington

Little is known about Mary Billington or her family. Records for catholic families - and we assume Mary was Roman Catholic - are few and far between during this period in British history. If she had lived a full life we may have been able to find more information about her but with her having died at such a young age finding information about her is even more difficult.

The International Genealogical Index (IGI) lists the birth or baptism of a few children called Mary Billington during the period 1755 - 1760 and any one of these could be the right one. Without more information it is impossible to know. It's also possible that her baptism record has not yet been indexed or has been lost or destroyed sometime during the last 240 or so years.

Perhaps the record will turn up one day and I will be able to fill in some of the blanks, but for now I will have to leave this record incomplete.
