The Family of Mary Kitchen

I have done very little research on Mary Kitchen and her family. According to my cousin Christine Ackers, who has done extensive research on the Kitchen/Kitching family, Mary was the daughter of Richard and Margaret Kitchen and was born c. 1761.

Mary was one of at least 5 children born to Richard Kitchen and Margaret Winder and lived in the Garstang area of Lancashire. She must have been a remarkably strong woman when we consider that she gave birth to eighteen children and still managed to outlive her husband.
