NOTES:
1: At the time of their marriage, William John was serving aboard HMS Agincourt.
2: The witnesses to the marriage were probably Ellen's siblings. She had brothers James and John, and a sister Elizabeth, who may have been known as Bessie.
3: It may never be known who Ernest Henry William Prince's father was but he assumed the surname Stacey after his mother's marriage and used it for the rest of his short life.
4: I have not yet found any information on William John's first marriage.
