The Family of Harry T and Clara E Hanna: Burial Records

Clara E (Madden) Hanna died on 4 June 1975, aged 71 years. I have not yet seen the actual obituary that was published in the local newspaper on 6 June 1975, but I have seen transcribed details from the obituary, which gave the following information:

Clara E. Madden, was born 25 February 1904 in East Brady, the daughter of William and Ella McCue Madden. She died on Wednesday, 4 June 1975 in Venango Manor Nursing Home, age 71 years.

She was formerly of 13 E. Seventh St., Oil City.

Clara was a life-long resident of Oil City, and a member of St. Joseph's Church.

She married Harry T. Hanna, who died November 1965.

She was survived by a son, Harold H. Hanna of Buena Park, California and a daughter, Mrs. James (Geraldine) Rockwell. Also surviving were sisters: Mrs. Marie Greenfield of Greenville and Mrs. Catherine Huefner of Warren; and brother Edward Madden of Meadville. She was predeceased by a brother, William P Karns. She had three grandchildren.

The funeral was from the Louis H. Osneider Funeral Home, and she was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Oil City.
