"MADDEN, MARY - Suddenly, on Sunday, October 11, 1942, at 1316 East Capitol St., MARY MADDEN, beloved wife of William Madden and mother of James E. Madden, Sr. and Nellie M. Madden. Remains resting at Ryan's chapel, 317 Pa. ave. se. Requiem mass at Holy Comforter Church, 14th and East Capitol sts., on Tuesday, October 13, at 9 a.m.
Friends invited. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery."

"MADDEN, WILLIAM W - Suddenly, on Sunday, October 17, 1943, at his residence, 1316 East Capitol st., WILLIAM W. MADDEN, beloved husband of the late Mary Madden and father of James E. Madden, Sr. and Nellie M. Madden. Funeral from the James T. Ryan funeral home, 317 Penna. ave. se. on Wednesday, October 20, at 8:30 a.m., thence to Holy Comforter Church, where mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Kindly Omit Flowers."

2: It is apparently difficult to get information from the cemetery office.
