MONUMENT INSCRIPTIONS:

"...Thomas Joseph Banks, who died March 28th 1926, aged 2 years,
Also James Banks, died Oct. 3, 1959, aged 64 years..."

(Buried in Plot AA 235 in the Roman Catholic section of Preston New Cemetery.
This partial inscription is from a curb-stone type monument which is damaged and incomplete.)

 

DEATH NOTICES:
"PEEL - Of your charity pray for the repose of the soul of Beatrice, the beloved wife of the late Leslie Peel
and a very special friend of all, who died fortified with the rites of the Holy church on October 21, aged 89 years, peacefully in Preston Private Nursing Home and formerly of 8 Almelo House, Preston. Rest in Peace.
No flowers please by request, but donations if desired to St. Catherine's Hospice c/o the funeral director. Requiem Mass English Martyr's Church on Wednesday, October 25 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at
Preston Cemetery. To be in repose and flowers to Brown Funerals, 54 Woodplumpton Road, Ashton, Preston.
