"FRANCIS J. JORDAN Francis J. Jordan, 75, of 87 Bates St., Pawtucket, died Thursday. He was the husband of Louise M. (Carter) Jordan. He was born in Pawtucket, son of the late Thomas and Agnes (Babcock) Jordan and had been a lifelong resident. He had been a machinist with the former Potter & Johnston, Pawtucket, for 18 years, retiring in 1959. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Pawtucket, and a 50-year member of Modern Woodman Lodge. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Harold J. Jordan of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred L. Robichaud of North Attleboro, Mrs. Sybil I. Drury of Warwick; a brother Thomas A. Jordan of Plainville, Mass.; a sister, Mrs Agnes Lantagne of La Crescenta, Calif., four granddaughters and a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday at 8:15 a.m. from the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Sacred Heart Church, Park St." |
