He emigrated to Australia with his parents in June 1885, when he was 11 years old. Harold Turner Higson died on 21 February 1950 at the age of 75 years. His cremated remains were buried on 22 February 1950 in the Tristania Rose Garden, G4, Bed 3, Rose 14 at Springvale Cemetery, Victoria, Australia. His wife, Elizabeth Minnie (Hodgkins) Higson died in June 1954 at the age of 70 years. Her cremated remains were buried on 29 June 1954 with those of her husband at Springvale Cemetery. |
