BURIAL RECORDS:
Richard Weights of St Paul's Square, Preston, infant, was buried on 21 March 1849 at St. Paul's Parish Church (C. of E.) in Preston, Lancashire by W. Carter.
John Morton Weights of St Paul's Square, Preston, age 1 year, was buried on 10 April 1855 at St. Paul's Parish Church (C. of E.) in Preston, Lancashire.
Dorothy, daughter of Joseph Weights of Preston, age 8 years, was buried on 6 November 1858 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by Thomas Carter, Curate. Entry No. 2077
James, son of Joseph Weights of Preston, age 16 years, was buried on 8 February 1859 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by Thomas Carter, Curate. Entry No. 2099
William Weights of Preston, age 22 years, was buried on 19 September 1863 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by Wilson Pedder, Vicar. Entry No. 67
Joseph Weights (Jr.) of Preston, age 13 years, was buried on 15 February 1869 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by W. Armistead, Officiating Minister. Entry No. 454
Sarah Weights of Preston, age 64 years, was buried on 21 May 1883 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by A. J. Davidson. Entry NO. 1255
Joseph Weights (Sr.) of Preston, age 84 years, was buried on 15 April 1901 at St. Helen's Church (C. of E.) in Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire by G. B. Stoner, Vicar of St Thomas' Church, Garstang. Entry No. 1681

 

NOTES:
1: The first two burials above are recorded in the burial registers of St John's Parish Church in Preston with a note saying that the burial was at St. Paul's Church.
2: St Paul's Church is now a radio station. When the church closed and was sold to developers the graves were exhumed and moved to Preston Cemetery. All headstones were removed at that time.
3: The above information was taken from the Burial Registers of St. John's and St Helen's churches held on microfilm and microfiche at the Lancashire Record Office.
