1: The Baptisms records listed above are from handwritten transcripts deposited at the Lancashire Record Office and not from the original registers. The transcripts were of Marriages and Baptisms but stopped before the baptism of George and Alice and did not include burial information. The original registers may still be held at the church. St Chad's Church
2: I have written to the Priest at St. Chad's but he was unable to find any of the above children in the original Baptism Registers.
3: Alice Morton's birth date may have been 2 February 1829. This is based on the date mentioned in her father's Will (2 February 1850) when his estate would pass to his children. Alice would be 21 in 1850.
