DEATH NOTICES:
"Died...On Monday last, a Cobble-Hey, in Claughton, near Garstang, after a very short illness, Mr. Robert Morton, aged 62."

BURIAL RECORDS:
Mar (Margaret or Margery) and Richard Morton died in infancy and are probably buried at St. Chad's Roman Catholic Church in South Hill, Chorley. The transcripts of the church registers at the Lancashire Record Office do not include any burial information.
Robert Morton, age 62 years, of Claughton-on-Brock, was buried on 19 November 1840 in the churchyard of St. Helen's (C. of E.) Church, in Churchtown, Garstang. It is noted in the Burial Register that he was a Roman Catholic.
Alice Morton-Charnock, age 78, was buried on 28 September 1867 in an unmarked common grave at SS Mary and Michael Roman Catholic Church in Bonds, Garstang. Plot S-No. 6
