THE MOON FAMILY
Peter Moon, husband of Ellen Norris, and Maria Moon, wife of Ellen's 2nd cousin William Mayor were the children of Peter Moon and Alice Miller, who were
married at St James Church in Leyland, Lancashire on 28 May 1857. Peter Sr. and Alice had at least six children. Peter was baptized at St Michael & All Angels Parish Church in Croston on 21 October 1866. Maria was baptized at the same church on 28 March 1869. At the time of the 1881 Census Peter and Alice were living with their family in Croston: |
