NOTES:
1: Thomas Henry Southworth was illegitimate but was apparently the son of John Norris. When he was baptized the curate began to write John as the father's name then crossed it out. Also, in the 1901 Census Thomas Henry is described as John's son rather than his step-son.
2: I have been unable to locate Henrietta's baptism and her place of birth is a bit confusing. In 1881 her birthplace was recorded as Mawdesley but in 1901 it was recorded as Wrightington.

1: At the time of his second marriage John Norris was described as a 35 year old widower living at Harrock Hill in Wrightington, the son of John Norris, a farmer. He was working as a coachman.
