THE FAMILY OF WILLIAM & CATHERINE MORLEY
FURTHER INFORMATION:
Catherine Morley, age 27, spinster, clerk, of "Millbrook", Penwortham, daughter of William Morley, builder
(deceased) married Frederick Williamson, age 28, bachelor, commercial traveller, of 83 Queen Street, Preston, son of Joseph Williamson, overlooker,
on 9 August 1933 at St Mary's Church in Penwortham, after Banns, by Oliver Burton, Vicar. The witnesses were Frederick George Pye, Olive Ogden Bailey, Robert George Osborne Foster, & Joseph Williamson. |
NOTES: | |
1: | I suspect that, after the early deaths of their parents, Catherine, and possibly her older sister, were taken in by their aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Robert George Osborne Foster. The Fosters were living at "Millbrook" in Penwortham at this time and until their deaths. |
2: | The above information is taken from the Marriage registers held at the Lancashire Record Office. |
