Also Janet his Wife died 10th February 1922 aged 35 years."

BURIAL RECORDS:
No. 1841: Janet Ascroft, of Highfield Lane, Croston, was buried on 14 February 1922, age 35 years,
by S. M. Rawland, Curate
No. 1843: John Ascroft, of Highfield Lane, Croston, was buried on 21 February 1922, age 36 years,
by S. M. Rawland, Curate

 

NOTES:
1: I have not yet discovered why John and Janet died so young - within a week of each other - or what became of their infant children.
2: The above information is taken from the headstones and from the Burial Records for St Michael and All Angel's Church held on microfiche at the Lancashire Record Office.
