...Also John, the beloved son of James and Margaret Norris,
who departed this life September 19th 1853, aged 5 years.
Likewise, the above mentioned James Norris, saddler, of Croston,
who departed this life December 5th 1857, aged 37 years...

"In affectionate Remembrance of Margaret,
widow of the late James Norris,
died May 14th 1872, aged 51 years.
Also William Ascroft, grandson of the above,
died in infancy May 23rd 1884.
Also James Norris McNulty, grandson of the above,
born March 25th 1879, died December 25th 1918.
Also Elizabeth Henderson, beloved daughter of the above,
born August 22, 1857, died February 5th 1925."

No. 1748: Buried 28 December 1918, James Norris McNulty, of Junction Lane, Lathom, age 39 years,
by A.G. Whalley, Rector
No. 1922: Buried 9 February 1925, Elizabeth Ellen Henderson, of 29 Queens Road, Southport, age 67 years,

NOTES:
1: James Norris and his young son John were buried with his grandfather and other members of the Norris family in the older part of the graveyard. Margaret and the others mentioned above were buried in the graveyard extension across the river.
2: The grave photo is of the older Norris family grave (1) at St Michael and All Angel's Church.
