| Margaret Norris wrote her Will on 6 May 1872. She appointed William Norris, farmer, of Croston, and her son-in-law John Ascroft, farmer, of Croston,
Executors of her estate. She left her entire estate to her four daughters; Jane Ascroft, Margaret Norris, Catherine Norris, and Elizabeth Norris. The Will was signed with her mark, and witnessed by William Holden and Thomas Norris. The Will was proved at Lancaster on 1 November 1872. |
