| Ellen Norris died on 11 January 1807 aged only 37 years. She did not leave a Will and there is no record of any administration of her estate. It is probable that she had no real or personal estate of her own. |
| John Norris |
| John Norris was only 62 when he died on 12 January 1830. Surprisingly, he left no Will and it is impossible to know what estate - if any - he left for his seven children. He lived and worked at the family farm, Mill House End in Croston, but the farm may have actually belonged to his elder brother Thomas. In his Will, dated 18 January 1850, Thomas left the farm to John's eldest son Hugh and this leads me to believe that Mill House End was always Thomas' property. |

| Jane Norris, widow of John Norris and his cousin Robert Caunce Norris, died on 11 February 1843 at the age of 77. She left no Will and, again, there is no record of any administration for her estate. |
