NOTES:
Margaret and Florence, being Catholics, were buried in the churchyard of their local Catholic church, while Thomas, an Anglican, was buried in the Church of England churchyard.
The grave reference "NP" at St Wilfrid's indicates that the burial was in the 'new portion' of the cemetery.
The Kenlis Arms Hotel is a small, family-run pub and guesthouse in Barnacre near Garstang. It comes very highly recommended for good home-cooked food, quiet, comfortable rooms, and a friendly atmosphere.
The above information is taken from the original burial registers of St Lawrence's Parish Church and transcripts of St Wilfrid's burial registers, both held at the Lancashire Archives.
