1: The witnesses, William Swarbrick and Eliza (Elizabeth Ann) Simpson were married 16 years later.
2: Frederick's unusual middle name was the maiden name of his grandmother, Eliza Adria Tarzewell, who married George Atkins in Dorset in 1844.
3: Sometime after their marriage Frederick and Mary Agnes moved to Hanley, Staffordshire where their two daughters were born, then to the Clapham Common area of Wandsworth, London, where their youngest daughter was born.
