NOTES:
Judging by the date of their marriage and the date of birth of their first child, it would appear that Margaret Dixon was heavily pregnant at the time of their marriage.
As a rule, early Church of England baptism registers did not record the child's date of birth, but many clergy entered the birth dates in as additional information.
I have not yet found the baptism records for Mona or Clifford, who were not baptized at Christ Church.
The above information was taken from the baptism registers of St Thomas' Church, Lancaster; and Christ Church, Carnforth, both held at the Lancashire Archives.
