BURIAL RECORDS:
Mary Ann Swarbrick, age 8 months, of 167 Havelock Street, Preston, was buried on 20 October 1866, in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery. It was the 1st interment.
Mary Ann Swarbrick, age 1 year, of Chorley, was buried on 12 June 1869, in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery. It was the 2nd interment.
William Henry Swarbrick, age 7 months, of 39 Hammond Street, Preston, was buried on 22 May 1871, in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery. It was the 3rd interment.
Thomas Swarbrick, age 34, of 39 Hammond Street, Preston, was buried on 15 July 1872 in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery, the 4th interment.
Elizabeth Swarbrick, age 75, of 66 Miles Street, Preston, was buried on 23 November 1915 in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery. The 5th interment, her occupation was listed as Spinner.
Ellen Swarbrick, age 68, of 71 Miles Street, Preston, was buried on 18 December 1930 in grave A-487 in the RC section of Preston Cemetery. A spinster, hers was the 7th interment.

 

NOTES:
1: The grave was purchased by Thomas Swarbrick in October 1866 for the burial of his infant daughter Mary Ann. It contains 9 burials.
2: The other three people buried in the grave are Thomas & Elizabeth's son James, his wife Amelia Ellen, and their daughter Elizabeth Gertrude.
3: The above information is taken from the newspaper on microfilm at the Harris Library in Preston, and from microfilmed copies of the Preston Cemetery burial registers held at the Lancashire Archives.
