NOTES:
John Swarbrick was buried in a family grave with his parents and some of his siblings.
Father Michael Hickey was a meticulous record keeper and kept both a Register of Deaths (in Latin) and a Register of Burials (in English).
Some time after John Swarbrick Sr's death his widow Jane moved to the Carnforth area, where she died in about 1921. I have not yet found her burial record.
The above information is taken from the original Death Register [RCG 1/7] and Burial Register [RCG 1/6] for St Mary and St Michael's Catholic Chapel, held at the Lancashire Archives.
