The Family of John Swarbrick: Burial Records

MONUMENT INSCRIPTIONS:

(John Swarbrick, his first wife Elizabeth, and their son John (1) are buried in separate unmarked graves. The whereabouts of their infant daughter Agnes and his second wife Margaret are unknown.)

DEATH NOTICES:

"Since or last...John Swarbrick, Isabella Street, aged 58..."

BURIAL RECORDS:

John Swarbrick (1), age 8 months, was buried on 11 October 1840 in the churchyard at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Liverpool.

Elizabeth Swarbrick, age 45 years, was buried in a common grave in the churchyard at SS Mary and Michael Catholic Church in Bonds, Garstang.

John Swarbrick, age 58 years, was buried in a public grave, plot H-162, in the Catholic section of Preston Cemetery on 24 December 1864.

Margaret Swarbrick may be buried in Barrow-in-Furness where she was living as late as 1901.
