The Life of Jane Swarbrick

Jane Swarbrick was born in Preston and baptized at St Mary's Catholic Church. She is a bit of a mystery as I have not been able to find any record of her after her baptism. If she survived infancy, she was only six years old when her father died in 1826. I have not found any record of her having married or having any children.

The situation is complicated by the fact that I have not found any record of her mother Elizabeth after about 1819 and do not know if she died young, remarried, or left the Preston area. There is no record of Jane or her mother having been buried at St Wilfrid's Cemetery.

I suspect that Jane, like her two sisters before her, died in infancy and will continue to search for a record of her death and/or burial.
