MONUMENT INSCRIPTIONS:
Nancy and their infant children are buried in unmarked graves in the churchyard of St Helen's Parish Church. Joseph is buried in an unmarked grave at St Mary's Catholic Church in Great Eccleston.

 

BURIAL RECORDS:
George Swarbrick (1), infant son of Joseph Swarbrick of Inskip, was buried at St. Helen's Parish Church, Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire on 22 February 1809.
George Swarbrick (2), infant son of Joseph Swarbrick of Inskip, was buried at St. Helen's Parish Church, Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire on 17 April 1810.
Nancy Swarbrick, wife of Joseph Swarbrick of Cross Moor, was buried 12 May 1814, age 28, at St. Helen's Parish Church, Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire. The burial register records her age as 29 and notes that she was a Roman Catholic.
Margaret, daughter of Joseph Swarbrick, of Kirkland, was buried on 20 April 1816 at St. Helen's Parish Church, Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire. The burial register records her age as 2 years and notes that she was a Roman Catholic.
Mary, daughter of Joseph Swarbrick, of Cross Moor, was buried on 23 July 1826 at St. Helen's Parish Church, Churchtown, Garstang, Lancashire. The burial register records her age as 19 years and notes that she was a Roman Catholic.
Joseph Swarbrick died on 12 February 1855 and was buried in the churchyard at St Mary's Catholic Church in February 1855.

 

NOTES:
1: The burial register entries for the two infants called George were simple one line entries with very little information. The burial register from St Mary's Church did not record the exact date of burial.
2: Cross Moor (sometimes written as Crossmoor) is an area of Inskip, Lancashire .
