NOTES:
The probate records have John Buckner listed as a widower. He had not yet married Charlotte and we have to presume then that Susan died before he wrote his Will and that they had never divorced.
John's probate was classed as an Administration with Will annexed. This means that he wrote a Will but that there was some problem with it that prevented it being processed in the normal way. This will have been something very minor so as not to nullify the Will but that would necessitate Administration being granted to someone - presumably Charlotte.
Barbara Ann and Carol Brenda Atcheson were the daughters of John Buckner's sister Alma and her husband John Gordon Atcheson.
The above information is taken from the original probate records on file in Toronto.
