Charles Buckner, died Oct. 20, 1926 aged 84 years,
his wife Phoebe Jane Fryer,
died Aug. 7, 1917 aged 81 years...'

DEATH NOTICES:
"Buckner - Suddenly at her late residence, 71 Pape Ave, Phoebe Jane, beloved wife of Chas. Buckner, in her 81st year. Funeral Friday, Aug. 10th at 2:30 to Norway Cemetery."

"Buckner - On Thursday, October 21st at the residence of his son, 71 Pape Avenue, Charles, beloved husband of the late Phoebe Buckner, in his 84th year. Funeral from the above address Saturday at 3 PM.
Interment Norway Cemetery."

BURIAL INFORMATION:
Charles and Phoebe Buckner are buried in the churchyard at St John the Baptist Anglican Church in an area of Toronto that was once a village called Norway, hence the name Norway Cemetery. The church is known to locals as "St John's Norway".

 

NOTES:
1: Charles and Phoebe are buried in a large family grave with other family members. The grave was purchased by their son Robert and I will include the full monument inscription with Robert's details.
