'BUCKNER In loving memory of... Charles Buckner, died Oct. 20, 1926 aged 84 years, his wife Phoebe Jane Fryer, died Aug. 7, 1917 aged 81 years...' (Partial inscription from St John's Norway Church, Toronto, Canada)

DEATH NOTICES:

"Buckner - Suddenly at her late residence, 71 Pape Ave, Phoebe Jane, beloved wife of Chas. Buckner, in her 81st year. Funeral Friday, Aug. 10th at 2:30 to Norway Cemetery."

"Buckner - On Thursday, October 21st at the residence of his son, 71 Pape Avenue, Charles, beloved husband of the late Phoebe Buckner, in his 84th year. Funeral from the above address Saturday at 3 PM.
Interment Norway Cemetery."

BURIAL INFORMATION:

Charles and Phoebe Buckner are buried in the churchyard at St John the Baptist Anglican Church in an area of Toronto that was once a village called Norway, hence the name Norway Cemetery. The church is known to locals as "St John's Norway".

NOTES:
1:	Charles and Phoebe are buried in a large family grave with other family members. The grave was purchased by their son Robert and I will include the full monument inscription with Robert's details.
