NOTES:
1: I have not been able to find the marriage record for George Edward Newberry and Johanna Rogers.
2: Johanna was also known as Johanna Bateman and Johanna Bateman-Rogers. This is because her father died when she was a child and her mother married a man called William Bateman. Johanna and her siblings sometimes used their step-father's surname Bateman.
3: Josephine and Johanna Bertha are a mystery to me. I have not been able to find any birth or baptism record for Josephine and she is not listed with her family in the 1911 Census - when she would have been about 7 years old. I have found Johanna Bertha's baptism record and she is listed in the 1911 Census but she is not mentioned in her father's death notice in 1945.
It may be that Josephine and Johanna Bertha were actually the same person.
