MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:
| It is possible that Agnes Boocock emigrated first to Lawrence, Massachusetts and that it was there that she met
her husband Thomas Jordan. Their daughter Agnes was apparently born in Lawrence before the family moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Agnes, and later her children, kept in touch with their family back in England and sent many cards and letters over the years. My late cousin Elsie (Swarbrick) Banks had several cards and letters from both her Auntie Agnes and her Cousin Agnes - and much of the information I have on Agnes and her family comes from various items sent to Elsie. |
