DEATH NOTICES:
 
"On the 10th inst., at Fulwood, Margaret Alice, the beloved wife of Mr. Thomas Battersby, and eldest daughter of Mr. William Swarbrick, Ashton-on-Ribble, aged 30."

BURIAL RECORDS:
 
Margaret Alice Battersby, age 30, of Fulwood, was buried on 14 December 1886. Hers was the 1st Interment, buried 20ft deep, in grave S-745. Register no. 25067.
 
Elizabeth M Battersby, spinster, age 18, of Lauderdale House, Fulwood, was buried on 22 September 1903.
Hers was the 2nd Interment in grave S-745. Register no. -------.
 
Thomas Battersby, age 68, of Haighton Tower, Contractor, was buried 8 April 1921. His was the 3rd interment in grave S-745. Register No. 53040.

 

NOTES:
1: Thomas and Margaret's grave has a large marble headstone that has fallen face down so cannot be read.
2: The grave was purchased by Thomas Battersby in December 1886 and contains 5 burials, including their son and a daughter-in-law.
