| 1: | George and Eleanor's marriage was apparently not a happy one. Eleanor was heavily pregnant when they married and the couple separated early on. |
| 2: | I am not 100% sure of the death date for Eleanor. An Eleanor Swarbrick died in Chester in 1907 but the age given in the index is 38 when she would have actually been 42 or 43. However, George describes himself as a widower in the 1911 census and Eleanor cannot be found in 1911. |
